Henry graduated from Diocesan Boys’ School and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He first started his career in working at Hong Kong Corporate Tax Department in a Big 4 firm for a number of years. He later joined Cheng & Cheng Taxation Services Limited as Tax Manager and was promoted to Tax Partner in 2019.
During his time in Cheng & Cheng, Henry gained fruitful experience in PRC Taxation and International Taxation and attained top scores in International Taxation (Paper 3) and Advanced Taxation Practice (Paper 5) of Certified Tax Advisor (CTA) exams. Henry and his team are equipped with knowledges in PRC, Hong Kong and International Taxation (both Corporate and Individual Income Tax) as well as transfer pricing in order to provide comprehensive tax planning solutions to clients.
Henry is a regular speaker at various professional associations including the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries (HKICS), Society of China Accountants and Auditors, etc. He is also a frequent contributor of tax articles on various media and magazines, including Capital magazine, A Plus magazine (journal of HKICPA), CSj magazine (journal of HKICS), Yahoo Finance, etc.

Elena is the Senior Tax Manager of the Firm and she has 9 years’ experience in tax services practice. Elena started her career in Hong Kong Business Tax Services in EY Hong Kong prior to joining Cheng & Cheng. After joining Cheng & Cheng, Elena expands her services scope of tax to include provision of PRC Corporate and Individual Tax advisory, as well as Transfer Pricing services. Her client portfolio comprises a wide range of industries including logistic and shipping, product manufacturing, trading and distributing, restaurant operation and property development sectors.
