Prof. Frederick W.H. Ho 

ADJUNCT PROFESSOR OF HKU AND CUHK

Prof. Ho is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science of the University of Hong Kong and an Adjunct Professor at the Statistics Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has been lecturing on a part-time basis in degree programmes in these two Universities since his retirement in 2005 from the Hong Kong Civil Service, apart from conducting occasional consultancy projects for international organisations such as the United Nations, the World Bank and the IMF.

Prof. Ho holds B.Sc. and M. Soc. Sc. degrees from HKU and is a Chartered Statistician of the United Kingdom Royal Statistical Society. As a professional statistician, he joined the Census and Statistics Department in 1972 and held the position of Commissioner (Head of the Department) from 1992 until retirement in 2005.

Prof. Ho is a prestigious statistician both locally and abroad. Former positions that he occupied in this regard include: President, HK Statistical Society; Vice-President of International Association of Official Statistics; Member of the Council of International Statistical Institute; Chairman of the United Nations Committee on Statistics for Asia and the Pacific; Member of the Advisory Committee of the Hang Seng Index; and Statistical Advisor, National Bureau of Statistics, People’s Republic of China.

Apart from statistics, Prof. Ho’s current engagement includes governing/advisory roles in several organisations in education, medical and social welfare sectors. Prof. Ho was awarded honours by the UK government (the OBE) and the HKSAR Government (the Silver Bauhinia Star – SBS).

Mr. Henry Kwong

TAX PARTNER, CHENG & CHENG TAXATION SERVICES LIMITED

Henry first started his career in working at Hong Kong Corporate Tax Department in a Big 4 firm for a number of years and later joined Cheng & Cheng Taxation Services Limited. Henry and his team are equipped with knowledges in PRC, Hong Kong and International Taxation (both Corporate and Individual Income Tax) as well as transfer pricing in order to provide comprehensive tax planning solutions to clients. 

Henry is a regular speaker at various professional associations including the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries (HKICS), the Society of Chinese Accountants and Auditors, etc. He is also a frequent contributor of tax articles on various media and magazines, including Capital magazine, A Plus magazine (journal of HKICPA), CSj magazine (journal of HKICS), Yahoo Finance, etc.

Mr. Roger L.C. Leung


Roger joined Union Registrars as its Managing Director since May 2014. Prior to the present position, he has previously taken up various management positions including executive director, company secretary, chief legal and compliance officer of listed companies. Roger has over 30 years solid and broad management experience in corporate secretarial practice, legal and compliance, corporate finance, corporate administration and business management of listed companies. Roger is a member of the executive committee of the Federation of Share Registrars and also an independent director cum audit committee chairman of a Main Board listed company. He was a part-time tutor for the Master of Corporate Governance from 2016 till 2020 and is currently a part-time lecturer of HKU SPACE for the CGQP preparatory course Risk Management.
